Owner: Stefan Skans, Västerås, Sweden.
Car: 1955 oval bug painted in dark gray, roll cage, racing seats, plastic windows, narrowed 7″ the front and 5″ a side in the rear, 275/50/15 tires in the back.
Engine: 2331 cc (84×94), Weber 48 IDA’s, Okrasa crank, Porsche rods, Super Flow heads w/48×38 valves, Autocraft roller rockers, Engle K 10 cam, MSD 6 AL, 2 step module, Mallory distributor, CR 11.0:1, Kennedy 2100 lb clutch, 4 puck disc, 100 hp NOS system.
Transmission: A stock (!) ‘64 gearbox w/a Super Diff, BugPack 5″ narrowed axles.
Comments: Best ET: 12.025 @ 188 kph (118 mph) on the 1/4 mile. A close ratio transaxle will be built/bought this upcoming winter.
